Full Name: Amanda Comeaux

Job Title: Product Manager, ThinkCentre North America

Hometown: Apex, North Carolina, USA

What I Do?

As a ThinkCentre Product Manager I am responsible for all aspects of driving a successful Desktop business for North America. This includes ensuring successful product launches, engaging with cross functional teams to conceive, design and execute winning product marketing strategies for our exciting, growing portfolio. I educate our Lenovo sellers and Channel Partners on the ThinkCentre product line, guaranteeing that we have competitive pricing and product while developing sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales goals.

Places I’ve Gone?

A few favorites include Cinque Terre, Italy; Barcelona, Spain; and the Mayan ruins at the beaches of Tulum, Mexico. US favorites are our East and West Coasts with San Francisco and the Big Apple.

My Best Day @ Lenovo?

Any day I can challenge myself, get creative and engage with other teams to drive product awareness and sales is a “best day” for me. Lenovo allows me to launch ideas and take them from conception to reality and produce results I am really proud of. Recently, I pitched a video concept where our new Tiny-in-One 23 monitor competes against a NASCAR pit crew to show how fast our product can setup. From concept to production, I got the video made within a month! The day the final video was delivered was a Best Day.

Why I am excited to be a OYW Delegate?

I am so excited for the opportunity to become a One Young World Ambassador by attending the global summit in Dublin. As Lenovo delegates, we have a unique chance to network internationally and discuss issues that young professionals are concerned about. I’m proud Lenovo products will be available for use throughout the summit and can’t wait to hear from the list of impressive speakers. We are all eager to see how Lenovo’s innovation can help with leadership development, business and social media influence, and our community back home. I am looking forward to bringing back what we learn at One Young World and sharing these new ideas with our Lenovo colleagues. A trip to visit Ireland isn’t too bad either!

My Passions?

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, traveling, fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
