When Lenovo acquired the System x business from IBM over a year ago, our goal was to build a One Lenovo infrastructure for ALL Lenovo products, programs and tools. I'm excited to announce this vision is now a reality. The migration of legacy IBM System x operations and processes onto a common Lenovo IT platform is complete and a brand new Partner Portal was launched.
What can you expect with these changes?
One Special Bids Process
OPRA, the Special Bids Tool for System x deals, is retired. Special Bids Pricing will now be handled by your Lenovo Sales Teams. Let us handle the business case and paperwork so you can concentrate on selling.
One Set of Pricing & Programs
Servers or Laptops. Think or System x. Pricing, order management, rebates, and programs will all be handled with the same processes.
All partners can now utilize the Lenovo Partner Network (LPN) website as the centralized host of content and marketing resources for ALL Lenovo products, programs, services and financing information. The brand new Partner Portal on LPN provides access to password-protected content such as pricing lists, announcement letters and training courses. The new portal now also provides single sign-on (SSO) access to management tools for reporting, rebates claiming, new deal acquisitions and more!
