Lenovo lights up Microsoft Ignite 2016 with new cloud-based data center offerings

This week at Microsoft Ignite 2016, Lenovo and Microsoft have teamed up to address the escalating demand for enterprise storage with advance solutions built upon Azure and Windows Server 2016.  We’ll be demonstrating a new leading-edge software-defined storage solution leveraging the advanced feature set of Windows Server 2016 and the flexibility of the Lenovo System x3650 M5 rack server.

Also timed with Microsoft Ignite, Lenovo is announcing several additional new cloud-based products featuring the latest in Next Gen IT solutions and designed to expand customer capabilities and deliver the future of the data center.

Lenovo Cloud Configuration for Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct (S2D): We know customers need to consolidate storage and compute capabilities on a single hardware platform. New Cloud Configuration for Hyper-V: The Lenovo Cloud Configuration for Microsoft Hyper-V, which runs on the powerful and versatile Lenovo system x3650 M5, provides strong performance for a wide spectrum of virtualized workloads on a flexible 2-socket platform.
